How does This Year work?
This Year helps you set and track meaningful goals. Start by recording a voice note about what you want to achieve this year. Our AI listens and extracts your goals, then creates a daily checklist of actions. Check off items each day and review your progress weekly.
How do I record my goals?
Tap the microphone button and speak naturally about what you want to achieve. Tell it like you're leaving a note to your future self. Something like: "This year I want to read more books, exercise three times a week, and learn Spanish." The AI will extract your goals from there.
What does the AI do?
The AI listens to your voice note and identifies the goals you mentioned. Then it creates actionable daily tasks for each goal. For example, if you say "read more books," it might create actions like "Read for 20 minutes" scheduled for certain days of the week.
Is my voice data private?
Yes. Your voice recording is transcribed to text (using Apple's on-device transcription when possible), and only the text transcript is used for AI processing. We don't store your voice recordings on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do daily checklists work?
Each day, you'll see a list of actions based on your goals. Actions can be scheduled for specific days of the week (like "Exercise" on Mon/Wed/Fri). Simply check off each item as you complete it. Your progress is tracked over time.
What's included in Pro?
The free version lets you track one goal with daily actions. Pro unlocks unlimited goals, full history tracking throughout the year, export and sharing capabilities, and more. Pro is available as a subscription through the App Store.
Can I export my progress?
Pro users can export their goals and progress as shareable images or summaries. Great for reflecting on your year or sharing achievements with friends.
