This End User License Agreement ("EULA") governs your use of the This Year mobile application and related services (the "Services"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by this EULA.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this EULA.

If you do not agree to this EULA, do not download, install, access, or use the Services.

This EULA incorporates by reference our Privacy Policy and all other policies referenced herein. By accepting this EULA, you also agree to be bound by those documents.

2. Description of Service

This Year is a goal tracking app that helps you set and achieve meaningful goals. The App uses voice recording, AI-powered goal extraction, and daily checklists to help you make progress on what matters most.

3. Account

This Year requires an account to use the app. Your data syncs securely to our servers, allowing you to access your goals across devices.

4. Subscriptions and Pro Features

This Year offers a free tier and a Pro subscription:

Free: Track 1 goal, daily checklist, basic features
Pro: Unlimited goals, weekly reviews, export features, and more

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Apple's terms and conditions apply to all purchases. Refunds are handled through Apple's standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Voice Recording and AI Processing

By using the voice recording feature, you agree that:

Your voice will be transcribed to text
Transcribed text may be processed by AI to extract goals and create action items
You have the right to record the content you provide
You will not use the service to record illegal or harmful content

6. Data Storage and Loss

We make reasonable efforts to maintain your data, but we are not responsible for data loss due to technical issues, account deletion, or service discontinuation.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Attempt to circumvent any security features
Interfere with the operation of the Service
Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limitations

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of noplans labs inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.

You retain ownership of your goals, notes, and other content you create in the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

The App will meet your specific requirements
The App will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
AI-generated goals or actions will be accurate or appropriate
The App will help you achieve your goals (that's up to you!)

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall noplans labs inc., its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
